White Petal Design: Terms and Conditions

  1. By placing an order with White Petal Design you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Content of this website may not be downloaded (unless stated), copied, reproduced or used commercially; it is for personal use only.
  3. Samples that are produced for you by White Petal Design will remain property of White Petal Design. You may not reproduce the samples and samples are for personal use only.
  4. Colours and textures may vary from those in the website’s photographs.
  5. White Petal Design reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and will notify you if a change will affect you.
  6. White Petal Design may change the prices of any item at any time. All orders will be charged at the price shown on the date the order is placed.
  7. A deposit of minimum 50% of the total balance is required at the time of ordering. This deposit is non-refundable.
  8. After receiving the deposit, White Petal Design will assemble an invite proof for the client. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the text, format, layout and quality of the proofs are correct before they formally approve it in writing.
  9. By approving the proof, the client accepts that they are happy with the quality and appearance of the product.
  10. The price of White Petal Design’s service includes up to 2 re-works of the wording. Further editing will cost £20 per time.
  11. Payment of the remaining balance will be required when you are happy to approve the proof. Once written approval and the balance are received from the client, the order will be produced.
  12. Production times will vary. White Petal Design advises you to allow at least 6 weeks for the production of the order once payment of the balance has been made.
  13. White Petal Design does not take responsibility for any damage done to stationery once it has been signed for. White Petal Design will not be held responsible for delays in delivery due to the postal service.
  14. If the packaging is damaged, the client must open the packaging in front of deliverer and refuse the parcel if there is damage to the goods.
  15. It is the responsibility of the client, and not White Petal Design, to ensure that they pay sufficient postage costs for each invitation sent out to their guests, if there are many components to the inivitations a first class stamp may not be enough.
  16. White Petal Design will not be held responsible for any text or wording errors present in the client’s final order if it also appears on the proof you have approved.
  17. White Petal Design produce hand finished, made to order products and therefore slight variations may occur. Laser cutting can sometimes leave a slight burn or scorch on the cutting edge due to the nature of the manufacturing process. Compensation, replacement or refunds based on the aforementioned variations will not be granted.
  18. All orders are subject to material availability and White Petal Design will propose a similar substitute if necessary.
  19. If you wish to cancel an order for wedding invitations or event invitations you must tell White Petal Design as soon as possible. Your deposit is non-refundable because it is used to buy materials for your proof and cover the time taken to produce the proof. If you cancel before the order has gone into production we will refund 50% of the total cost less £50 administration fee. If you cancel after the order has gone into production no refunds or exchanges will be allowed due to the personalised nature of the products.
  20. Refunds and exchanges will be at White Petal Design’s sole discretion and will only be granted if a product is faulty or does not fulfil the specification of the product ordered.
  21. Agreed refunds and exchanges will only be of equal value to the original order or less.
  22. White Petal Design will not be held responsible or deemed in breach of contract for failing to provide services when the cause is beyond their reasonable control.
  23. White Petal Design will not share your details with any third party.
